About us

The association of anti-piracy activity (LANVA) was established in the 27th of November in 2006. The association unites the biggest music, audiovisual creations, game programs producers and ones, who have authors’ rights and agents of movies industry of Lithuania.

The priority of association is to defend the rights of authors of our members, to pursue anti-piracy activity in electronically expanse and inside market of republic of Lithuania and educate the public about the protection of the intellectual property.

To protect the rights of authors and producers we communicate with police and customs-house officers, the Culture department of republic of Lithuania. With the view of consolidate the protection of intellectual property; the Police department by Home Office signed the cooperation contract with the association of Anti-piracy activity on the 31st of March in 2007.09.05

The representible and producible intellectual production of our members is spread not only in the market of Lithuania and in many countries of European economical society. LANVA members take place of 65 % of video industry, 70% of movie industry, 80% of music industry and 70% of games industry market of Lithuania.

The protection of the right is very actual not only for LANVA members and for country of Lithuania and economic of it. Agents of the intellectual property’s industry create about 5% of general inside production (BVP). It is a big part of Lithuanian economic; the same part is for constructional industry. The breach the rights of the intellectual property has influence for the producers of intellectual production and for Lithuania economic. It’s declining. And this takes influence for every one of us.

The main purposes of association:

To protect the rights of our association members- to pick information (and give it to the members) about the using of illegal rights of authors and the conterminous rights.
To represent members of association for Lithuania and foreign country’s nongovernmental and others institutions.
To protect the interests of association’s members.
To cooperate with others anti-piracy activity organizations in others countries.
To create common projects with foreign juridical and /or natural person, organize conferences, seminars, and training and take active part in it.
To render methodical support, to gather and educate information for association’s members.
To publish the editions about anti-piracy activity and others editions for educating the public.
To educate the public about anti-piracy activity in electronically expanse.
